PlayCafe was started in 2014 to give parents of very young children an opportunity to come together over play, crafts, snacks and singing. Sadly the logistics of moving equipment for each session forced us to close for a little while.
This autumn we will be opening the doors to our purpose built log cabin. Our sessions will take place in small groups. Times projects etc will be flexible as we welcome visitors of all ages. We will be drawing on the years of skill of our leaders to deliver an exciting program. Partnered with Cannon Studio, Adobe and Baker Ross etc we will ensure your makes are everything you hope for.
Creative parties and private sessions are also available.
Check out our booking pages and online shops for more information. We hope to see you very soon.
The Play Cafe would not be able to operate without its volunteers. People who have volunteered at Play Cafe have found the experience very rewarding in many ways. Volunteers can use this experience when applying for college courses or jobs and we do in-house training too if you are looking to improve your skill set.
What we look for in a volunteer
A willingness to be accountable for your actions and an understanding of our vision and values is desirable. Along with an ability to communicate with people and work as part of a team
